Bitrix24 connector

WhatsApp, Viber and Telegram in Bitrix24 Open Channels

A Bitrix24 app that connects WhatsApp, Viber and Telegram numbers to Open Channels — all customer conversations in the CRM.

The challenge

Customers message you wherever it's convenient for them: WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram. Sales reps were replying from their personal phones, conversations never made it into the CRM, and when an employee left, the entire communication history with their customers left with them.

The solution

I built a Bitrix24 app that connects messenger numbers to Open Channels.

  • Incoming messages automatically land in Bitrix24 and are linked to the customer
  • Rep replies sent from the CRM reach the customer in the same messenger
  • Number management — connect and disconnect numbers right from the app interface
  • Bulk messaging to your customer base via background workers, with delivery status tracking
  • Conversation history and a settings page

Under the hood

  • FastAPI, async SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, Alembic
  • Bitrix24 OAuth authorization with automatic token refresh
  • Deployment on Kubernetes (Helm, werf), CI/CD via GitHub Actions — zero-downtime updates

The result

All customer communication lives in one CRM. Management sees the conversations and response times, and the customer base stays with the company — not on a sales rep's phone.
