Automated Digital Goods Store on a Marketplace
Order → key purchased from the supplier via API → delivered to the buyer in seconds. Plus automatic repricing against competitors every 2–5 minutes.
The challenge
A digital goods seller (game keys) sells on a marketplace and sources inventory from a partner supplier. Every order meant manual work: buy the key from the supplier, send it to the buyer, check the margin. Competitor prices changed constantly, and keeping up manually was impossible — especially overnight.
The solution
Automated delivery
An order comes in from the marketplace → the system automatically buys a key from the supplier through the partner API → the buyer receives it on the order page and by email. No human involved, 24/7.
Automated repricing
A background process compares competitor prices every 2–5 minutes and adjusts listing prices — but never drops below the configured margin. Competitor price snapshots are stored for analysis.
Product matching
Fuzzy title matching that handles editions, Roman numerals in titles and spelling variations. Each supplier product is correctly linked to its marketplace listing.
Admin panel
- Orders, manual delivery when needed, disputes and buyer messages
- Markup and profitability checks for every product
- Reports: top 30 sellers, revenue converted to USD
- Logs and Telegram alerts
Scaling
Two brands run on a single codebase — each with its own storefront and settings.
The result
The store sells around the clock with no operator. Prices react to the market in minutes, margins are protected by rules, and the owner focuses on the product range and growth instead of routine tasks.
